Maintenance work on the stoney cloud from the 11th to the 12th of June 2025
In the night from Wednesday, the 11th of June 2025, to Thursday, the 12th of June 2025, between 23:00 and 02:00, we will be doing maintenance work on our switching infrastructure to expand our OpenStack based stoney cloud to additional racks. We are also integrating the new IP ranges into the cloud.
The expansion of the switching infrastructure is a routine task that has no impact on operations in the normal course of events.
During the introduction of the new IP ranges, there will be two short interruptions of the internet connection. This affects all VMs and all services running on our platform. The interruptions are expected to take 1 to 5 seconds.

Scope of Services
Based on the open source software Nextcloud, stoney storage offers you a professional storage solution for small and medium companies, education facilities and public services.
You decide the size of your storage. The access to your stoney storage occurs through a modern web interface. You can organise and manage your documents anywhere and anytime. The language can be changed between German, English and French. Your data is stored in a Swiss data centre.
Teamwork becomes a cinch. Documents can either be downloaded for reading only or checked out, then modified and finally uploaded. This way you avoid creating multiple versions of the same document. Stoney storage comes with one gigabyte of storage. You can add storage as needed in the future.
Would you like to access your storage via your own domain? We can set up your own domain and stoney storage logo. This way we are able to customise stoney storage to your demands.
