This guide explains how to set up two-factor authentication for stoney storage.

Two-Factor Authentication enhances the security of your stoney storage by requiring an additional verification method beyond the password, significantly improving protection against unauthorized access.

  • You need an OTP authenticator like andOTP. It can be downloaded for free on Android from the Google Play Store.
  • Active internet access

Have your stoney storage password and username ready.

Start with step 1.

Step 1

Log in and select "Settings" in the upper right corner beneath your profile picture.

Check the "Enable TOTP" box under "Security" -> "TOTP (Authenticator app)".

A password and a QR code will be displayed.

Step 2

Connect to your authenticator either by the displayed password or by QR code. In andOTP, the QR code can be scanned using the plus sign at the bottom.

After configuring your app, enter the test code displayed in the OTP authenticator below and press "Verify".

Step 3

Now you will be asked to enter an authentication password after each login. This password will be displayed in the OTP authenticator.
